Holy Moly summer birthday babies! It is HOT! So instead of me dragging you to the gorgeous Arizona desert, lets just chill at home. Maybe we can enjoy a popsicle with our dog brother, Jaxon!
MUCH more on that later :) Per the usual.. we started in Tatum's bedroom (in jammies, duh!), and she was just giving me EVERYTHING haha! We were happy, sad, sassy.... #vibes... also #roomgoals ;)
Maybe I've said this a million times, but HANDS are my favorite thing in a photograph. They say so much :) Of course, Tatum wanted her Mommy, and Mommy was THERE. When you have your hands out like that, you're nonverbally communicating that you want them as much as they want you, ya know? Very, very loving <3
Before I come over, I chat with Mom about what their child loves to play with, etc. Right now, the fisher price car is a big thing :) I can totally understand because we have had the red version of this IN THE HOUSE haha (!!!!) for like 6 years. My daughter loved it and now my son plays with it too :)
Dad's are fun. Baby brothers are, too :) We played around for a little bit :)
I love bathroom pics! I usually try for a "potty" pic, but that is for kids who are a little older (2 is young for that), so we did the next best thing... we did our hair!
How to pick a favorite from this next set... impossible!! This dog, Jaxon, was SO well behaved :) When we told Tatum to share her popsicle with him, his look of restraint is hilarious!
Then it was time to head inside to grab a snack before we read our book :)
"Hey Tatum! Can you grab the books?"
Kids crack me up!!!! Also, no kids ever want to read a book haha! So we just messed around :)
Then it was back to Tatum's awesome bedroom for some tickling and dress up :)
And that's a wrap! Not bad for 40 minutes :) TATUM IS 2!
I want to thank this little cuties Mom, Kelsey for being an AMAZING person! Thank you so much for referring me to all of your friends (one I have already shot with!), and booking me to take pictures of your ENTIRE family this fall :) It is because of people like you that I am able to meet new people and do what I love best, which is documenting families both in nature and especially at home. Also, thank you for being my neighbor haha! It's not often that my commute to a shoot is 3 minutes ;)
